Crêpes at the de Luc's Büx wagon – and the software behind it.

de Luc’s Büx

de Luc’s Büx is our joint company – Bernard Gerber’s and mine. With the crêpe wagon we work markets, festivals and company events around Winterthur. Sweet and savoury, batter by hand, long queues – and a point-of-sale system I built because paper and mental arithmetic stop working at 200 crêpes.

Neustadtbrockenhaus

For the Neustadtbrockenhaus in Winterthur – a second-hand store with a café – I built the website. A few times we also helped out there with the crêpe wagon; it is not a regular thing.

Where it comes from

Before education and IT I spent years in hospitality – service, kitchen, bar. You learn to stay friendly under pressure, to read people, and to say no now and then. That helps on the pitch, in the classroom and when writing code.
